I picked up this since Bolleli got me all fired up on the discovery of the New World again

I think this was actually recommended to me back in the DCF days by someone here. I am going back through my really long book wish list and starting from the bottom instead of the top like I should

The film was pretty terrible. The novel was really good.

Based on the plot summary, I'm guessing you're referring to your social-issue paranoia, and not extreme time dilation issues.
