Hierarchy of Self

Post by Martin Hash » Sat Apr 21, 2018 7:32 am

1. Everyone is the center of the universe.
2. We make almost all decisions based on our base emotions.
3. Individuals are primarily 3 inherited traits: intelligence, conscientiousness & altruism in different mixtures.
4. Personal liberty is making decisions for yourself and reaping the rewards or suffering the consequences thereof.
5. It’s a big world out there and you have to take care of your own first.
6. Logic can solve all problems.

Agree to number one with the caveat that everyone is also that fly fart in time. Everything and Nothing all bundled up into one.

Don't 5 and altruism stand in direct opposition to each other? FTR, I am a subscriber to Twain's "What is Man" way of viewing this experience. In other words, are there no personal rewards from being perceived as aultruistic by others? Because one does not bestow this label upon themselves, it is an externality for the most part.

LOL we just spent a few pages a month or so ago showing that "altruism" is slack-jawed Jacobin commie drooling.

The state doesn't reflect the "self," the state annihilates the "self."

Got to trust someone’s science; if Jordan Peterson is wrong, I put my faith in the wrong person.

p.s. There are people who put their faith in my judgment. If you’re not one of them, well, that’s your loss.
