Civilization is based on familial relationships at its core, and courtesy beyond that. Without courtesy, there is no civil society because courtesy is the most important ingredient. It can be forced, though that is unsustainable; healthy courtesy is a delicate thing that needs acquiesce from all parties, but people are taking it for granted, some even consider it a Right. The abuse of courtesy is rampant. The Left exploits courtesy as its most fundamental weapon. They are eroding everyone's willingness to engage in courtesy, and it will eventually collapse, along with civility.
