Failed Embargo September 7, 2016
The worst of the worst is political posturing on the international stage that is primarily for consumption at home. Case in point: Iran. I would blame the Main Stream Media for America's absolute cluelessness except that, as far as I can discern, no news source tells the real story. Iran, in fact, is a thriving modern country despite decades of international sanctions. Public Works projects are everywhere: their roads are excellent, and their gas stations ornamented with fountains & gardens. They build their own trucks, buses, tractors & cars. Tehran is a forest of building cranes.By forcing Iran to be self-sufficient, they are even a stronger & more focused force to deal with. It would take the might of America to defeat them in a military conflict. Even worse, sanctions have enforced the commitment of the people to their oppressive theocracy, indoctrinating their contempt for women that will take generations to overcome. There is only one word for international embargoes: ridiculous.
