That's not the origin of "yellow" meaning "coward", the term comes from "yellow belly" which is an old English epithet, came to America when it was applied to the Mexicans in the Mexican-American war, then became a general epithet for all enemies that America fought, from the 19th through to the 20th century.

It's the new class of stealth ship. It had cannon rounds it could fire something like way, way over the horizon but the rounds were deemed too expensive after the guns were installed. Most of the ship's focus is on missles and anti-missles as well as all the other doodads and crap. A tug boat crushed its hull during docking a few months ago.
