It varies widely, but I'm definitely a regular listener now. He goes off into some goofy tangents, but a portion of each podcast gets into some pretty deep thought.
It all depends on who the guest is, and how stoned they are while recording.

edit: Louis Theroux (documentarian)
Daniele Bolleli (another history podcaster)
Thaddeus Russell (college professor speaking about "rape culture" on campus, Joe mentioned him in the Jordan Peterson episode)
Lance Armstrong

Not sure who the paleontologist was, but that was good. Russell was good, and Kevin Smith.

I am probably going to listen to all of these eventually, thanks everyone.

Got my friend to listen to the Peterson 'cast, he really liked it too.

Listening to the Dan Carlin one yesterday, was astonished to find that Dan's wildly erratic and jarring volume levels clearly aren't caused by his own recording equipment like I thought, but it comes from within. Joe's volume is consistent, Dan sounds like two different people.
