Great Show. No real disagreements

To me there's something left out of this debate. It's maybe best described as a spiritual connection to guns and the ability of self defense without the need for govt protection. And an element of protection against the government.

It all stems from our founding. Outside of American mythology, the Indians did fight back, the did massacre entire settlements, and often in the wilderness your gun and proficiency with it might mean eating or starving for families.

One of Carlin's best observations was that America's love for guns can't be understood by foreigners, it is uniquely American like Japanese whaling.

It's not some ammosexual thing as left frames it. It's deep and spiritual.
