"RU TV," is American TV except in Russian. Shows are the same, sports are the same, music videos are the same, Reality TV is the same, and movies are extremely well dubbed American movies mixed with good Russian-made movies.Even during the time of the Soviet Union, Russia has been the consummate imitator of America, and it works for them. They aren't embarrassed by their copycatdom like Europeans are, and truthfully, it's a good strategy. Creating markets is very, very difficult, but serving ready-made customer prototypes is a sure path to success, just ask the Japanese. Why America is constantly battling Russia for the interests of other nations whose citizens despise us is beyond me?
